Volleyball Open
Gyms
There will be Volleyball open gym for girls who will be in grades 7 and
8 next year on the following dates from 3pm to 5pm at the high school:
Tuesday, May 6; Friday, May 9; Tuesday, May 13; Friday, May 16; Tuesday,
May 20; Tuesday, May 27; Friday, May 30.

Parent Meeting
There will also be a Player/ Parent Meeting for anyone interested in playing
middle school Volleyball next year in the high school cafeteria on Tuesday,
May 13th at 7:30pm.

8th Grade: Bloom Carroll 35
The Bloom-Carroll 8th grade boys basketball team defeated Fairfield
Union 35-32. The Bulldogs had a 12 point lead at the end of the
3rd quarter before Fairfield Union cut the lead to 2. The Bulldogs
held on with some late free throws. Scoring: Spires 14 points. Canini
9 points. Bishop 5 points. Kilby 3 points. Fetherolf 2 points. Tate
2 points.

8th Grade: Bloom Carroll 35 Amanda Clearcreek 26
The Bloom Carroll 8th Grade Boys Basketball Team defeated Amanda
Clearcreek last night by a score of 35-26. The game was hard fought
throughout and Amanda should be congratulated on their great effort.
Scoring for the Bulldogs were Canini with 12 points, Kilby with
8 points, Fetherolf with 6 points. Spires with 4 points. Tate with
3 points and Bishop with 2 points. Jared Bright and Tyler Tate played
very good defense on Amanda's top scorer. Thank you to everyone
who came out and supported both teams. |

7th Grade: The 7th grade won in three games: 16-25, 25-20, and 26-24. Amy Schmitz was the lead server with 13 points.
8th Grade: The 8th grade won in two games: 25-23 and 25-22. Sadie Evans and Alanna Vance were lead servers with 7 points each.

The Bloom Carroll Junior High wrestling team hosted the Mid
State League Junior High Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 31st. The boys finished
6th in the standings and had 5 boys place, 3 of those boys came home with
championships in their weight class.
