Meeting
The Bloom Carroll High School Volleyball Meeting
will be held on Tuesday, March 18th at 6pm in the HS cafeteria. Any
incoming Freshman and current HS girls (and their parents) who are
interested in playing Volleyball next year are encouraged to attend
this informational meeting. Information will be provided concerning
upcoming open gyms, summer open gyms, summer tournaments and discussions
on fundraisers and how we can improve the volleyball program at BC.

Bloom Carroll defeated Logan Elm in their final regular season Volleyball match 25-20, 25-10, 25-18. The Lady Bulldogs left it all on the court Thursday night in honor of their seniors and played an excellent match. Hannah Porter went 20 for 20 while earning 14 points and had 15 assists. Dailyn Shade also had 14 points, led the team with 9 kills and 6 blocks. Allison Weaver and Ashlee Spires both had a perfect serving night going 14 for 14 earning 11 and 9 points respectively. Ashley also had 7 kills. Christina Anderson had 8 kills and 5 blocks.

The girls played well on their Senior night but could not pull off the win, no matter how hard the battled against the Indians.
Dailyn shade led the team with 7 kills and went 9 for 9 serving. Ashlee Spires had a perfect serving night going 15 for 15 and scored 9 points for the Lady Bulldogs. Hannah Porter had 12 assists, 3 kills and also went 9 for 9 serving. Ursina Peterhans and Betsy Bobo also had perfect serving stats going 10 for 10 and 8 for 8 respectively.

Bloom Carroll defeats Fairfield Union in 3 games 25-12, 25-16, 25-20. The Lady Bulldogs stepped it up Thursday night and played a great defensive and offensive match throughout the evening. Ashlee Spires led the Bulldogs with 22 points while going 26 for 27 with 3 aces and 3 kills. Ursina Peterhans was next high in points earned with 10 while going 15 for 15. Hannah Porter also served 12 for 12 for the evening and had 3 kills. Dailyn Shade and Christina Anderson led the team in kills with 4 each and had 5 blocks between them. Ashley DeVault played one of her best defensive games of the season as she had several block attempts which kept the ball in play for the Bulldogs.

Bloom Carroll fell short 3 out of 4 games and lost to Teays Valley with barn burner scores of 25-23, 24-26, 26-28, 18-25. The Lady Bulldogs fought hard throughout the night but kept coming up short on the Vikings "Senior Night."
Betsy Bobo led the bulldogs by going 16 for 18 serving and tallied 11 points. Daily Shade was also 16 for 18 and added 10 points. Ursina Peterhans had a perfect serving night at 16 for 16 and had 10 assists. Ashlee Spires led the team in kills with 6 while going 12 for 12 serving and Lauren Shade had 5 kills. Hannah Porter had 5 kills and 9 assists.

The Lady Bulldogs did not give up easy and fought a good battle against Hamilton Township, who is currently leading the MSL. Ashlee Spires served 9 for 9 and led the team with 6 kills. Hannah Porter added 5 points, 5 kills and had 12 assists. Dailyn Shade had 4 kills and 5 blocks while Christina Anderson went 7 for 7 serving and added 4 kills. Lauren Shade served 7 for 7 and scored 3 points. Ashley Devault play a great offensive and defensive game and had 3 kills. Ursina Peterhans went 8 for 8 and had 6 assists. The bulldogs played one of their best defensive matches of the season and was lead by their defensive specialists Betsy Bobo and Allison Weaver. Both played a great defensive game by digging up several hard hits from the opposing team and kept the play going.

Hannah Porter went 10 for 10 had 9 assists and 2 kills. Ursina Peterhans went 9 for 9 serving and had 10 Assists. Lauren Shade and Ashlee Spires lead the team with 5 kills each.
